Susan Schott Karr is a former first-grade teacher who went on to coach business people on their writing. Susan recently served as the interim communications manager and senior communications writer at U.C. Hastings College of the Law, as well as a writing coach at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Susan has published nine middle-grade children’s books with Pearson Education and five online children’s books with Six Red Marbles. She has done curriculum writing for Tighe Publishing. In addition, she has published over 45 articles on finance, education, technology in Financial Executives magazine and on SEC regulations and compliance in Compliance Week magazine.
She holds a B.A. in education/English from The College of William & Mary; an M.B.A. in general management/finance from Golden Gate University; a Certificate in Web Design from the University of California at Davis; and a Certificate in Novel Writing from Stanford University.
